Cross country: Brandl, Greenwood, Evans advance to state

TWO RIVERS -- Corrine Brandl and Michael Evans of Valders and Kellie Greenwood of Two Rivers all advanced to the WIAA State Cross Country meet at the Division 2 Two Rivers sectional on Saturday.

Brandl finished fifth and Greenwood sixth in the girls race, while Evans crossed the finish line fifth in the boys race.

The state cross country meet is next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.
