Calumet County authorities seek leads in two burglaries

TOWN OF STOCKBRIDGE — The Calumet County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help regarding two burglaries Friday and early Saturday, in which tools valued at more than $12,000 were reported stolen.

The first burglary occurred in the 5500 block of Faro Springs Road. Entry was gained by forcibly entering a service door. Taken were a Miller Stick welder, Miller Mig welder, welding helmets, Stihl chain saw, Milwaukee grinder and four bows.

The second burglary was in the 4900 block of Faro Springs Road. A construction trailer was forcibly entered. Taken were two Milwaukee drill sets, one Bosch drill set and two Stihl chain saws.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact the Calumet County Crimestoppers at 877-765-8327. Callers can remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.
