BLOOMING PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Harriet Berdella Miner, 91, of Blooming Prairie, Minn., died Monday evening, Oct. 19, 2009, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie, Minn.

She was born June 2, 1918, to Ingval and Louise (Buck) Boe in rural Hayfield, Minn. After completing teachers training, Harriet taught in rural schools near Sargeant, Minn.

She married Everett Miner on Sept. 26, 1940, on the family farm. They made their home in the Blooming Prairie area. Everett passed away on April 2, 2004.

Survivors include sons, Marlin (Jan) Miner of Blooming Prairie, Minn., and Roger (Beverly) Miner of Brownsdale, Minn.; daughter, Linda (Steven) Lysne of Colby; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie. Interment was at First Lutheran Cemetery, Blooming Prairie.
