Scott L. Forbush, 29, of Sheldon, died this morning as the result of a one-vehicle crash on Highway 73 in Taylor County.

Forbush was pronounced dead on the scene at about 8:30 a.m., by the Taylor County Medical Examiner’s office, according to a Taylor County Sheriff’s Department news release.

According to the news release, it appears alcohol was not a factor.

He was alone in the vehicle, and was ejected when the vehicle allegedly entered a ditch and rolled over, while traveling southbound near the town of Taft between Thorp and Gilman.

The vehicle came to rest on top of Forbush, the news release said.

The investigation is ongoing.
