Erin Kathryn Ploman, 12, beloved, joyful daughter of Jennifer and Travis Ploman, Kronenwetter, died with her mother Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, the result of an auto accident.
Erin was born Dec. 22, 1996, in Madison. She was a seventh-grader at Mosinee Middle School. She enjoyed dancing, soccer, volleyball, softball and making jewelry. Erin loved fishing with her Grandpa Glen, loved to go shopping with her Grandma Betty, and enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She was very involved in her church through nursery service, AWANAS and youth group. She went on a mission trip to a North Dakota Indian reservation with the youth group this past summer.
Erin is survived by her father, Travis Ploman of Kronenwetter; brother, Jordan, at home; grandparents, Betty and Fred Lemke of Gresham, Percy and Agnes Schwerke of Shawano, Glen and Ruth Ploman of Chili, Wis., and Cindy Collins of Indiana; uncles, Mark (Jane) Schwerke of Oxford, Pa., and Michael (Sue) Schwerke of Shawano; Aunt Karrie (Ian) Salisbury of Illinois; and many cousins.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. today, Oct. 22, 2009, at Christ Community Church, 8100 Alderson St., Weston. Dr. Robin Wilde will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church. A shuttle bus service will be provided from D.C. Everest Senior High School parking lot to the church from 6 p.m. until after the service. Private burial will be Friday.
Brainard Funeral Home-Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston, is assisting the family with arrangements.
