Egg Harbor: Health-Care Reform Forum set for Saturday

Door County residents will have an opportunity to hear more about the "Current Status of Health-Care Reform" at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Paul J. Bertschinger Community Center, 7860 Wisconsin 42, Egg Harbor.

The League of Women Voters of Door County hosts the event, in which Melanie Ramey, League president and director of HOPE of Wisconsin (The Hospice Organization and Palliative Experts of Wisconsin), provides an update about the current status of the health-care reform bills in Congress.

A panel of Door County agency representatives will discuss their individual agencies and the needs of their clients related to health-care reform.

Registration will begin and refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. The program will conclude by 11:30 a.m. Registration is not required, but would be appreciated for preparation of handouts; contact Shirley Senarighi at rsenarighi@charter.net or (920) 743-1691.
