United Co-op mails stock payments to investors

United Cooperative of south-central Wisconsin is celebrating Cooperative Month by mailing more than 8,000 stock revolvement checks totaling more than $1.2 million, according to a company news release.

United Cooperative has locations in Ripon, Mayville, Horicon, Iron Ridge, Juneau, Baraboo, Beaver Dam, Cazenovia, Deerfield, Hartford, Hustisford, Johnson Creek, Juneau, Pickett, Poynette, Prairie du Sac, Randolph, Reedsburg, Rock Springs, Sauk City, South Beaver Dam, Watertown and Wyocena.

Formed in 1936, it is a full-service cooperative offering feed, grain, agronomy, and energy products and services to south-central Wisconsin farmers and consumers. United Cooperative exists to provide its patron members with the best possible value and return on investment, backed by exceptional service and professionalism.

About 30 percent of farmers' products and farm supplies in the United States are marketed through more than 3,000 farmer-owned cooperatives.
