Oostburg volleyball

The Flying Dutchmen capped a perfect Central Lakeshore Conference season on Saturday, winning the league tournament. Oostburg went undefeated during the CLC regular season and didn't lose at the tourney.

Male Athlete of the Week

Matt Scott, Kiel

Scott, a senior cross country runner, won the Eastern Wisconsin Conference individual championship on Saturday at Plymouth. Scott finished in 16:59, 13 seconds ahead of second place. Kiel finished second as a team to Plymouth.

Female Athlete of the Week

Niki Rhyan, Plymouth

Rhyan, a sophomore cross country runner, took first place at the EWC meet Saturday in Plymouth. Rhyan won the individual title in a personal-best time of 15:14, a whopping 47 seconds ahead of the field. Her Panthers also won the team title.
