Mildred M. Olm

Mildred M. Olm, Reedsville, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009.

She was born on April 9, 1927, in Oconto, daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Johnson) Bergeron. Mildred married Roger Olm on May 21, 1947, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Collins.

She loved flowers, and gardening. Mildred was a member of St. John St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville and was a member of the Ladies Aide for many years. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Reedsville.

In addition to her husband, Roger, Mildred is survived by her children: Michael (Judy) Olm of Chilton; Jacqueline Olm-Ford of Houston; Douglas (Beverly) Olm, Whitelaw, and Kevin (Lisa) Olm of Reedsville. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Renee (Wayne) Hackelber of Two Rivers; Chad Olm of Oshkosh; Kristin (Dustin) Anderson of Madison; Derek Ford of Texas; and Brianna and Holly Olm of Reedsville; five great-grandchildren: Ashley, Katelyn, Devon, Nathan, and Aloura. Mildred was preceded in death by three brothers: Joe, Louis and Jim and a sister: Marge.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at St. John St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville with the Rev. Timothy Nommensen officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m., until the time of services. Burial will be in St. John St. James Cemetery.

Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville is assisting the family.
