A former Campbellsport resident will spend two years in prison for his sixth offense of drunken driving.

Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Robert Wirtz recently sentenced Thomas W. Bente, 35, to the prison term with three years extended supervision and revoked Bente's driver's license for three years.

A jury found Bente guilty of the crime on July 23.

At 12:23 a.m. on Oct. 29, 2008, Bente was pulled over by law enforcement authorities on County Trunk V near Timberlane Drive in the town of Eden, according to court documents.

Bente's blood alcohol concentration was .208 percent, more than 10 times the legal limit for someone with three or more drunken driving convictions.

His first occasion of drunken driving occurred in June of 1991.
