Rachel Anne Irvine and Brett Douglas Link, of Sydney, Australia, happily announce their engagement to be married. Rachel is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Irvine of Cramerton, North Carolina. Brett is the son of Debra
Fabel of Rothschild and Douglas Link of Centerville, Ohio.

Rachel graduated from South Point High School in Belmont, NC in 2002 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. She is currently employed by the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Sydney as the Publications and Design Coordinator.

Brett is a 2002 graduate of Wausau East High School and graduated in 2006 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is employed as an Account Manager by Blackbaud Pacific in Sydney.

Rachel and Brett were engaged on November 14, 2008 at the Manzanilla Ridge cottages in the Hunter Valley wine country, Australia.

The evening wedding will take place on September 5, 2010 at the Charlotte City Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
