CHIPPEWA FALLS -- The Evergreens captured their third straight trip to the WIAA state volleyball tournament with a five-set win over Eau Claire North in a Division 1 sectional final.

The Evergreens came back from a 2-1 deficit, winning with game scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-27, 25-13, 15-13.

Everest will face Middleton in a state quarterfinal matchup on Thursday in Green Bay.

ALTOONA -- Tomahawk earned its first-ever trip to state with a four-game victory in a sectional final 25-9, 26-24, 17-25, 25-22.

Tomahawk faces Catholic Memorial in a state semifinal on Friday.
