Our nation’s Armed Forces honor our freedom by fighting for it. We are honoring their sacrifice by learning what it was like for them and their loved ones as they served their country thousands miles from home,” said Jerry Kramer, best remembered for his 11-year NFL career in Green Bay as an offensive lineman. Each week, beginning after Memorial Day weekend through Veterans Day in November we will see the world, the times, through their eyes. Learn more about WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and the Middle East War Heroes who fought for the freedoms we still enjoy today.

Letters from our veterans. We encourage you to help paint the picture, that is our history, by sharing your own families’ letters. The words written by our brave service men and women will help shape the story. This year, we also hope to be able to report on what was happening state side, at that time, through memories shared by those submitting the correspondence. Please be sure when submitting the letters if they are two pages to scan both and separately also make sure your photos are in JPEG, PNG, or GIF formats only and should be at least 1,000 pixels wide.
